About Bake for Breath: Making a Difference
Our Mission
At Bake for Breath, our mission is to raise funds and awareness for purchasing ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation) devices, which are crucial life support systems that can temporarily take over the functions of the heart and lungs. These devices provide critical time for the organs to recover from severe illness or injury, especially when conventional treatments like ventilators fail. Through the sale of homemade cake pops and other sweet treats, we aim to unite communities in support of those facing life-threatening health challenges in need of these devices. Every treat purchased represents a step toward helping Tallahassee Memorial Hospital (TMH) purchase essential care and life--saving equipment for patients in need. By combining the joy of baking with the power of generosity, we strive to make a lasting impact on the lives of patients and their families, ensuring they have access to the advanced medical technology they deserve.
